LithTech chooses new CEO

The Washington-based developer appoints former Nintendo executive Jeffrey Hutt to its top position.

Washington-based developer LithTech today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Hutt as its chief executive officer. Hutt previously held several senior development and planning positions at Nintendo of America and Looking Glass Studios. He replaces Jason Hall, who will continue as CEO of Monolith Productions, Lithtech's parent company.

The company also unveiled a new strategic plan to synchronize its technology development with the production of games. The new system will give licensees of LithTech technology better access to new features and tools. The upcoming sequel to The Operative: No One Lives Forever will be one of the first games to use the new approach. Monolith first revealed that it is 2714827working on a sequel to the game at E3 last May.
