We've had some great racing games this year, but for something different that fires on all precisely engineered plastic blocks, Lego 2K Drive is hard to beat. A mix of open-world racing in the same vein as Forza Horizon mixed with kart racing action, this delightful game just got a massive discount for Black Friday.

For the current-gen versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X, Lego 2K Drive is available for $35, while the Switch, PS4, and Xbox One versions are marked down to $30. The game normally retails for $60-$70, so getting a 50% discount is a pretty big savings here. In case you missed it when it first launched in May this year, Lego 2K Drive is a toyetic racing game that makes excellent use of the Lego IP to provide some robust building options.

Sure, these are mostly cosmetic, but when you can put your stamp on your Lego vehicles of choice, they add some excellent personalization to the experience.

"Lego thrives on versatility and variety. The brand has become associated with everything from model towns to outer space to licensed franchises like Star Wars to original IP like Bionicle and Ninjago," Steve Watts wrote in GameSpot's Lego 2K Drive review. "Lego 2K Drive is relatively narrow compared to the wide array of Lego iconography, but that laser-like focus works in its favor. The team at 2K and Visual Concepts has made a great racing game first, allowing the Lego elements to organically add both an astounding amount of customization and flavorful visual flourishes to make a lively and enjoyable open-world driving experience."
