Overwatch 2's first-ever music-themed crossover is coming soon, and it will star a rising force in K-pop, LE SSERAFIM.

The South Korean girl group debuted in 2022, the same year Overwatch 2 released, and since then has become best known for hits like "Unforgiven" and "Antifragile." LE SSERAFIM's latest song, "Perfect Night," will feature Overwatch 2 in its music video set to debut on October 26, Blizzard has announced, with a teaser video showing the members of the group all wearing D.Va's iconic headphones. Additionally, LE SSERAFIM will be making a special performance at BlizzCon on November 4, where they will perform "Perfect Night" live and other hits.

In-game, Overwatch 2's K-pop crossover will bring new items, including Legendary skins themed around the group, as well as a special LE SSERAFIM-inspired game mode that will kick off November 1. Blizzard hasn't yet revealed what the mode will entail or what the available skins will look like, but said more details will be coming on October 30.

“We’re extremely excited to be working with LE SSERAFIM for our game’s first musical artist collaboration,” Overwatch general manager Walter Kong wrote in a press release. “Like the heroes of Overwatch, the LE SSERAFIM members are amazing as individuals, but unstoppable when they come together.”

The LE SSERAFIM collab is just the latest cross-brand promotion to hit Blizzard's free-to-play shooter, with previous crossovers including One-Punch Man, a bizarre-appearance from John Cena, and an in-house crossover with Blizzard's own Diablo franchise.

Overwatch 2 recently received its Season 7 update, which introduced a new Diablo-themed game mode and a Halloween-themed Battle Pass, alongside a major rework to Sombra and a new map, Samoa. Blizzard will be sharing what's next for Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon on November 3, where it will reveal the game's next tank hero.
