[Last Chance] Destiny 2: Where Is Xur This Week? Exotic Items / Location Guide (Sept. 25-29)
Xur's back with more Exotics for you to fill out your collection for next week's Iron Banner.
Destiny 2's Season of Arrivals continues as we prepare for the release of Beyond Light, with another round of the Iron Banner coming next week--so gear up for the competition by buying new Exotics from Xur. Head to the EDZ, to the Winding Cove area to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering Telesto. Hunters can pick up the Orpheus Rig leg armor; for Titans, there's the Citan's Ramparts gauntlets; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Lunafaction Boots leg armor. You've got one more day to visit Xur and grab his Exotics before he leaves the solar system with the weekly reset on September 29.
Xur Location
You'll find Xur at the north end of Winding Cove in the EDZ. Use the nearby transmat point, then ride your sparrow up the overpass toward the rock wall there. You can reach Xur by climbing up or by finding a cave opening and following the path to where it lets out on the cliff above. Look for the crashed Fallen dropship; Xur is right beside it.
Xur Exotic Items
Xur is offering Telesto as his weapon this week, a fusion rifle that still sees a ton of use in the Crucible and in PvE activities. The gun is great for zapping Guardians and almost always guarantees a kill, and can be used for crowd control, boss damage, and taking advantage of new Destiny 2 bugs, as well. But if you're not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don't already own. He also has the Five of Swords challenge card, which lets you enable modifiers for Nightfall Strikes.

Telesto (Fusion Rifle)
As compared to other fusion rifles, Telesto is a more strategic option. Its projectiles don't just fly through the air; instead, they stick to targets as well as surfaces and explode with a delayed Void detonation. That means you can use Telesto to set traps, control ground, or catch groups of enemies with the explosion--and whenever you snag a multikill with the gun, it reloads your equipped Energy and Kinetic weapons, so you can keep firing. Telesto is great in the Crucible, because its sticky projectiles mean you can kill Guardians even if your aim is a bit off, since projectiles might explode on the floor or walls nearby.
Orpheus Rig (Hunter)
For Hunters, Orpheus Rig is a standby Exotic for PvE activities and one you should always keep handy. First, it makes your Shadowshot supers more effective--when you use the Way of the Trapper setting, you get ability energy for every enemy tethered by your bow shot, while the Way of the Pathfinder's Moebius Quiver gets additional shots. Orpheus Rig is best used with the top tree Nightstalker class, because the ability energy regeneration helps you get your Super back more quickly, making it great for controlling crowds of enemies and generating Orbs of Light for your fireteam. In any tough PvE activity with lots of enemies, Orpheus Rig is standard Hunter equipment.

Citan's Rampart (Titan)
If you're a Titan who likes to make use of a lot of barricades with your teammates, Citan's Rampart can give you some more options. The gauntlets turn your Towering Barricade from a wall into two-way glass, allowing you and your teammates to shoot through them while your enemies can't. The trade-off is that your barricades get less health and a shorter duration.

Lunafaction Boots (Warlock)
Lunafaction Boots used to be absolutely essential to Warlock loadouts in high-level PvE activities. The boots change your rifts by speeding the reloads of any allies who stand in them, and your Empowering Rifts make boost allies' weapon ranges. That reload speed boost has been downgraded with a nerf from Bungie--used to be, the reloads were near-instant, so the boots were awesome for dealing boss damage--but even the slower version Lunafaction Boots now offer is still pretty good in boss fight situations.
