King of Fighters heads to the GBA

SNK's popular fighting series will appear on Nintendo's Game Boy Advance.

Marvelous Entertainment, developer of Dog of Bay for the Sony PlayStation 2, has announced that it will release SNK's fighting game The King of Fighters for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The story takes place after The King of Fighters '97 and features more than 20 characters including Kyo, Iori, Benimaru, Andy, Terry, Mai, Ryo, Robert, King, Kim, Chang, Choi, Bao, Sie Kensou, Ralph, Clark, and Leona. New characters created exclusively for the handheld version are also expected to be included. Currently 30 percent complete, The King of Fighters for the Game Boy Advance will be released in December in Japan. A North American release date has not been announced at this time.
