Along with this, a second video showing off new fighter Antonov has been released. Antonov is described as a "villainous eccentric billionaire/man-mountain. For those keeping up with the story, he purchased the rights to the King of Fighters brand and is hosting the latest tournament.

The King of Fighters 14 will launch in Europe on August 26 and in North America on August 23.

KOF 14 was first announced during the PlayStation press conference at Tokyo Game Show 2015. Although brawls take place on a 2D plane from a side-on perspective, the game is being built with 3D assets. Impressively, there are a total of 50 fighters in the roster.

"This brand new KOF numbered series title features high-quality 3D visuals, however [it is] staying true to the gameplay roots of the series," SNK said at the time.
