Kayak Interactive names new CEO
New head of mobile game company brings 10 years of experience at Electronic Arts to new post.
Mobile game publisher Kayak Interactive announced today that Keith McCurdy has joined the company as CEO. As the vice president for online and product development at Electronic Arts, McCurdy oversaw that company's emergence into the online gaming realm and the creation of the massively multiplayer role-playing game Ultima Online. With McCurdy at the helm, Kayak Interactive is "in excellent position to become the principal mobile, multiplayer game publisher," according to a statement released today. Kayak's business model is currently being applied to technology solutions that enable multiplayer gaming for mobile applications.
