Despite previous reports to the contrary, the film is carrying on safely.

Deadline is reporting some good news regarding Jurassic World: Dominion's filming currently taking place in the UK: Recent concerns that crew members had tested positive for coronavirus have been unfounded.

A spokesperson confirmed to Deadline: "Any reports indicating that Jurassic World: Dominion has halted production are categorically untrue."

Earlier this week a number of UK outlets, including The Sun, were reporting that production has been halted on the first day. Unnamed studio sources had told The Sun that: "This was the last thing anyone expected so soon… everyone was excited about getting things back up and running on set but this could totally derail that."

Jurassic World: Dominion is the sixth entry in the film series adapted from the 1990 Michael Crichton sci-fi novel. Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who also wrote and directed 2015's Jurassic World and wrote and produced 2018's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Dominion was co-written by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael.

Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. It has been scheduled for release on June 11, 2021.
