EA has released a brand-new trailer for its charming-looking co-op game It Takes Two. Set to the iconic Fleetwood Mac song "The Chain," the trailer sets the stage for what to expect from Josef Fares' new game.

For those just catching up, It Takes Two tells the story of a human couple going through a divorce. Their daughter becomes upset about this and creates two dolls modeled after her parents. She cries on them and they come alive before getting thrust into a fantastical world where they must work together to escape, and rekindle their love in the process.

Like Fares' previous game, A Way Out, It Takes Two is only playable in co-op. Thankfully, the game comes with a free "friend's pass" that allows you to play with someone even if they haven't bought the game.

Players must work together to solve puzzles and take down enemies. The missions are all over the place thematically and visually, as one moment you're caught in a war between squirrels and bees, and the next you're crashing through a door on a bowling ball.

The song "The Chain" is a fitting choice for the trailer. Stevie Nicks is said to have written the lyrics about her deteriorating relationship with Lindsey Buckingham and their ultimate drive to stay on good terms even amidst a challenging situation as bandmates.

As for what Fares might make next, he told Polygon that he wants to "f**k sh*t up creatively." He is considering ideas for an open-world game and an RPG, but the most likely bet is that he'll return with another co-op game next. "I love it too much," he said.

It Takes Two launches on March 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
