Interplay and Blue Byte Software have signed a deal that gives Interplay the US distribution rights for at least four of Blue Byte's upcoming PC games. Under the terms of the agreement, Interplay will distribute Stephen King's F13, Battle Isle 4, Dragon's Lair 3D, and The Settlers 4 - all of which are due in 2000 and 2001.

"The Blue Byte brand is a huge success in North America," said Interplay VP of strategic development Kim Motika. "We are really excited to be partnered up with such a high-quality publisher who has some outstanding titles releasing over the next year. Stephen King is one of the best-known horror authors, and to have the opportunity to include one of his games in our portfolio is great."

Stephen King's F13, previously unpublished in book format, will be available for both the PC and Mac platforms this January for an estimated US$29.95. Battle Isle 4 and The Settlers 4 are tentatively scheduled for a Q3 2000 and Q4 2000 release respectively.
