Humble Bundle Giving Away Free Steam Game This Weekend
You've got about two days to download Snake Pass on PC from the Humble Bundle store.
In case you need another game to add to your backlog while you're stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, PC game distributor Humble Bundle is giving away Snake Pass for free on Steam.
Claiming your copy of Snake Pass is incredibly easy. You must create (or log into) a Humble Bundle account, then simply sign up for the distributor's newsletter and, viola, the game is yours. No strings attached. There is a minor caveat, though: You must do this before June 14 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET to get Snake Pass for free. Humble and developer Sumo Digital will hold this giveaway until the date lapses or supplies run out.
Snake Pass, a 3D puzzle-platform reminiscent of old-school collect-a-thons like Banjo-Kazooie, originally launched on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March 2017. We scored the game a 7/10 in our Snake Pass review, saying, "Snake Pass is a quirky puzzler that innovates while simultaneously evoking memories of your favorite platformers of yesteryear--just don't expect to grow into your new skin overnight."
Snake Pass is only one of the many free games available to play right now. Across multiple platforms and several storefronts, there is a vast assortment of games you can download at no charge, such as Call of Duty: WWII on PS4, Too Human on Xbox One, Ark: Survival Evolved on PC (via the Epic Games Store), and more.
