Japan's Golden Week kicked off yesterday, and to celebrate the festivities, the Xbox Store is hosting a sale featuring more than 100 games, most of which were developed at Japanese studios. Xbox's Golden Week sale includes big discounts on The Yakuza Remastered Collection, Nier Automata, Mega Man 30th Anniversary Bundle, and plenty more Xbox One and Xbox Series X games until May 5.

A ton of Final Fantasy games are 50% off during the Golden Week sale. Final Fantasy 15's Royal Edition is down to $17.49. Alternatively, you can grab the Pocket Edition, which features cute chibi-style visuals, for $15. Older Final Fantasy games are also prominently featured in the sale, with Final Fantasy 7 down to $8, Final Fantasy 8 Remastered for $10, Final Fantasy 9 for $10.49, and Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age slashed to $25.

With Nier Replicant now available, you could pick up its sequel to play at a later date. Nier Automata's Become as Gods Edition is on sale for $20, which is the best price we've seen for this edition of the stunning action-RPG.

Best Xbox game deals

Some of the best deals in the Golden Week sale are on bundles and normally expensive editions of popular games. For example, Dragon Ball FighterZ's FighterZ edition comes with an expansion pass containing eight additional fighters for $14.24. You can also get the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Bundle for $40.19. This collection contains all 11 mainline Mega Man games and all eight Mega Man X games. Meanwhile, Ori: The Collection is discounted to $17.49 and comes with both of the excellent platformers in the series.

Make sure to check out the Xbox Store for the full list of Golden Week deals. The PlayStation Store is also hosting a Golden Week sale with even more deals, so PS4 and PS5 users shouldn't miss out on that one either.
