Season 2 of Disney+'s Star Wars series The Mandalorian is out today. Here's how to watch.

If you're a fan of Dave Filoni's The Clone Wars and Rebels, then you are probably loving Season 2 of The Mandalorian. There are plenty of connections to those TV shows and reappearances of fan favorite characters like Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze. Episode 5, in particular, featured plenty of Easter eggs and references outside of the major character appearances. So who's ready for more Mando? Well, check out when the next episodes will arrive to Disney+.

When Does The Mandalorian: Season 2 Air?

Season 2 of The Mandalorian is already upon us. Episode 1 landed on Disney+ today, Friday, October 30. You should be able to watch it now with a Disney+ subscription.

New episodes of The Mandalorian will arrive on the streaming service every Friday. The season finale will hit Disney+ on December 18. Below, you will find the full release schedule for Season 2 of The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Release Schedule (2020)

  • Episode 1: Friday, October 30 (available now)
  • Episode 2: Friday, November 6
  • Episode 3: Friday, November 13
  • Episode 4: Friday, November 20
  • Episode 5: Friday, November 27
  • Episode 6: Friday, December 4
  • Episode 7: Friday, December 11
  • Episode 8 (season finale): Friday, December 18

Obviously, the only way to watch The Mandalorian is on Disney+. The streaming service costs $7 a month or $70 a year. Disney+ features classic movies from the House of Mouse, along with a large archive of TV shows and movies from Star Wars, Marvel, and much more. You also have access to National Geographic documentaries.

Or you can bundle Disney+ with ESPN+ and an ad-supported Hulu for $13 a month. Both ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu are $6 a month individually. So you're getting $6 off a month if you get all three.

Not a lot is known about Season 2 of The Mandalorian--aside from what we've seen in the trailers. However, there are a few things we're expecting to see. There are plenty of new toys coming out for the new season, including a moving Baby Yoda plush--because why not? There is no shortage of other Baby Yoda merchandise, and expect the list will only grow.

Canceled my Disney+ sub months ago. Aside from the mando series, which was slightly better than average imho, Disney has nothing to offer me. Maybe I’ll sub back for a month when they release all of the episodes and then cancel again immediately after.

@untouchables111: They want you to have the Disney+ sub long enough to pay for it a couple times.

I'm happy that they are going with weekly releases instead of all at once. Wasn't too hyped with seeing more Star Wars after Last Jedi but I really enjoyed e1.

@blade256: I'm not a binge watcher, so even if episodes are all released at once I still watch them one a week xD

@blade256: I prefer it to be like every other service besides Hulu. Disney only stretches it out to milk subscribers to pay monthly.

@blade256: i actually wish it was all at once, having the ability to binge watch eliminates pacing issues.

@alastor529: Yep, it is paced like scenes from a movie rather than episodic. I like that but, with that pace, I want the next set of scenes because each episode doesn't have much arc. Ep3 was better than the first two though, here's hoping it just gets better.

@alastor529: Yeah, but then we could binge and cancel Disney+ during our free week, and they don’t want that.

@mogan: Plus the show remains a water cooler topic for much longer when we get an episode per vs a full season all at once. If the show is good, a weekly release schedule is a vastly smarter marketing strategy.
