House Of The Dragon Season 2 Trailers Invite You To Pick A Side

It's an exciting time to be a fan of Game of Thrones, as Season 2 of the spin-off series House of the Dragon debuts this June, and a pair of trailers for it have now arrived.

The "Green" and "Black" trailers dig into the rivalries to come in Season 2 as opposing forces are vying for the Targaryen throne. As you can see in each trailer, both sides are eager and willing to do whatever they must to ascend to the throne, including through violence and political subterfuge. Pretty classic stuff for Game of Thrones--here are the new trailers:

House of the Dragon Season 2 premieres June 16 on Max and HBO. June is proving to be a stacked month for new TV show releases. Joining House of the Dragon Season 2 in June is Season 1 of The Acolyte (June 4), The Boys Season 4 (June 13), and The Bear Season 3 (June TBA).

House of the Dragon Season 2's production was seemingly unaffected in a material way due to the Hollywood strikes, in part because the main cast was covered by a different union and the scripts were already done.

House of the Dragon Season 1 was a big success for HBO in terms of ratings, and expectations are high for the sequel. Another Game of Thrones spin-off, The Hedge Knight, is in production now and is expected to premiere in 2025 along with The Last of Us Season 2.
