Horizon fans looking for a hobby project don't have to look any further. The Horizon Forbidden West Tallneck Lego set, which features the iconic machine from the Horizon series, is back on sale for $72 on Amazon, down from $90. It even comes with figurines of Aloy and the Watcher. Horizon fans shouldn't wait to add this to their cart, because the last few times this set has been discounted it sold out quickly.

The Horizon Forbidden West Tallneck Lego set includes the following:

  • 1,222 Lego pieces for building a Lego brick model of a Tallneck, the most iconic Horizon machine in Forbidden West
  • Lego minifigure of Horizon character Aloy with bow and brick-built speak, and a Watcher Lego figure with a choice of blue, yellow, or red eyes
  • Display stand with a brick-built birch tree, tall grass, and a rusty stoplight with a vine wrapped around it
  • Booklet featuring step-by-step building instructions plus a story on the set creation process

The Lego set takes care to replicate the Tallneck's disc-shaped head, neck antennae, and tails with little Lego pieces. You can also buy LED lighting for the Tallneck if you want the figure to double as a lamp.

Note that it's marketed as a Lego set for ages 18 and up, possibly because of the number of pieces and how difficult it is to assemble. The Tallneck features a mostly static body with some parts that pivot, like its head and legs. It's meant to be a display piece and not a toy. The small, complex-shaped parts might also be difficult for young children to assemble. That said, this kit could make for a fun project for the whole family.
