Heroes of Might and Magic IV expansion ships

3DO has today announced that Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Gathering Storm has shipped in the US. The expansion pack, which like the full game was developed by New World Computing, features more than 20 new single-player maps and a number of new monsters to fight and artifacts to collect. The Gathering Storm also incorporates a multiplayer update that comes with six new maps and a new campaign editor for players who wish to create their own adventures.

The Gathering Storm is available now and will require a copy of Heroes of Might and Magic IV to play.
