Here's The Entire Smash Bros. Ultimate Roster Recreated In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
A very devoted fan spent 400 hours hand-crafting a set of costumes for the massive Smash Bros. roster.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has inspired some very impressive pet projects, but a new one may take the cake for most ambitious. A player with an eye for fashion spent hundreds of hours recreating costumes to represent the entire Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, including DLC characters.
The image from on DJ-Dez on Reddit (via Kotaku) features costumes of the full set, from Mario to Samus to Simon Belmont. There is one slight cheat with Isabelle, which is clearly just an image of the actual Animal Crossing character--but the rest of the project is so incredible we can let it slide. Plus they had to make two Ice Climbers.
DJ-Dez said the entire project took more than 400 hours. The vast majority of the costumes are original creations, with the exception of a few like Kirby and Mr. Game & Watch that used some in-game items. If you'd like to browse the creations and scan some for use in your own game, you can use the creator code MA-3790-6501-6469.
