Heavy Rain demo pours onto PSN

How come this game was rated 15 in Britain while Modern Warfare 2 was rated 18 there????

this is a real next gen game. i mean it plays like a game but feels like a movie!

Once in a while comes a game unlike most of its kind. This is one of them.

simple,don't like,so don't buy...lots of other games are out there (yup! i know...FPS...bla..bla..bla..)

loved the demo for this game, the graphic, the story seems to be very interesting, and the way u interact with the characters is awesome, already pre-ordered

@tehepicpwnzor Heavy Rain isn't using murder, drugs, and nudity to sell the game, they are using it to create and immerse the players into a story. And so far, it's looking like a pretty amazing story. If you don't like the concept, you either have to grow up, or miss out on what could be the most innovative game of the year.

A while back when I saw Heavy Rain in Game Informer, all I thought was how awesome it looked but the concept sounded wack. After playing the demo, this just became number one on my most wanted list. So far, the story is epic. Even the fight scenes are epic. I can't wait to get this game.

If you find yourself not enjoying heavy rain.. do yourself a favor and close your eyes take a deep breathe.. clear your mind of pointless garbage and then procede to focus on the video game which in this case is heavy rain and then tell me why you dont like it. Seriously.. adventure games are not my cup of tea but this game is outstanding, visually stunning along with some of the best animation you will ever see in a video game. I dont like consoles in general especially with crossfired 5870's and a triple screen set up for the pc but this game rocks.

@tehepicpwnzor If you don't like it don't play it. I guess as far as your statement goes you don't read books, play games, watch tv or movies, or even go outside. Everything you have a problem with is a part of everyday society. It has been around for many decades and has not changed. Obviously you being on a video gaming website means you play games, if you don't like nudity, murder of children, or drug use then stay off the internet, lock yourself in a closet and stay hidden to the world because that is the only way you can avoid it.

I loved the demo, played it 3 times and got 3 different outcomes. This game is going to have alot of replay value. Graphics are some of the best i have ever seen. But i do agree that this game wont be for everyone.....and like i said on the other site to those of you who are new to this site. its unfortunate, but you realy cant beleive anybody on this site. Their is alot of fanboys who will lie about this game because they dont l;ike ps3. Its jealousy and childish, but thats how this site is......but 24 proffesional reviewers are giving this game a superb score...a 9.2 average not all of them cant be wrong......but again not a game for everybody......I highly sugest renting it, then make up your own mind...Im glad i already paid for it, and im very excited

this is obviously not for everyone but I thought the demo was good for what it is. The fight sequence is great. I'm just a bit worried about the replay value.

Jury is still out. Worried that this is going to be too short to justify full price buy. Graphics and gameplay pretty awesome, though.

This was a really good demo... the gameplay is so different from other games I cant wait to buy this February 23 2010. YES!!! been waiting a long time as well

A different approach? Experimental gaming? Count me sold. I support gaming risks whole-heartedly.

I clicked on this topic to see how the users were liking this title. I got rid of my PS3 about 7-8 months ago, and was really regretting it, especially with exclusives like GOW and Heavy Rain coming out. I think I'll be picking up one of those PS3 slim models shortly. So, from the looks of it, the game seems to be getting some good feedback.

Beat the Demo of Heavy Rain, was quite taken by its very difrent approche. Now i have to say the M rating for so many things is a little discuraging... Although the game play may become slow and tedeus at times in the full one. I have hight hopes for the game seeing as it is the first of its kind on the PS3. It gives you a difrent kind of gaming world all togeather, rather than FPS' all the time or action adventures and so on that seem to just be poping out like nothin else I think they took a Bold step here and I Highly recomend the demo and game to thoughs who like or love unique games.

I will pick up this game 1 year later, in the bargain bin.

I might've gotten the demo if it wasn't rated M for six different things. There's a point where it becomes so sick and twisted it isn't fun anymore.

Man this Heavy Rain game sounds so awesome, I'm downloading this the second I get home from work tonight.

I've very rarely felt that exhilarated playing a game, or even watching a movie. My heart was actually beating faster and I was literally on the edge of my seat yelling out loud about what was going on. My wife thought I was going crazy.

i played the heavy rain demo, it's a good demo showcasing two scenes from the game the two scenes are pretty different too, letting you know how varied the games exp's will be...

Loved the Demo. It was weird at first, I remember one point seeing Shelby enter the building and I was thinking that this was a cutscene or something I mean the graphics look that good. Then I realized I get to walk around and play in this environment all the time. Gorgeous and really fun. Gets you thinking and more involved than any run of the mill button masher.

I've downloaded the demo, but have not had time to try it yet. :(

This Demo is freakin' amazing! Can't wait to get my hands on the full game. Glad to know both Xbox, Playstation, AND Wii are all getting some great games at the start of 2010.
