One of Harrison Ford's most iconic roles is that of the archaeologist-adventurer Indiana Jones, a film series that features iconic music created by the legend John Williams. Ford cannot escape this music. It was even playing when he had his latest colonoscopy.

"As I often remind John, his music follows me everywhere I go--literally," Ford told Variety. "When I had my last colonoscopy, they were playing it on the operating room speakers."

Williams is known for creating the theme music for not only Indiana Jones, but also Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Home Alone, and more. At age 92, he's still working and earning praise. He's nominated for his 54th Academy Award for the music for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Williams told Variety that he's often asked about his legacy. "If I could be remembered as someone who did his job well and remembered as a good solid musician, I would rest very happily," he said.

As for the Indiana Jones series, 2023's The Dial of Destiny is the latest entry in the franchise that began 1984's Raiders of the Lost Ark. No new entries have been announced, and Ford is expected to have concluded his run and is stepping away from the franchise in the future.

An Indiana Jones video game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, is in the works from Wolfenstein developer Machine Games. The game is set for release later this year.
