Admcad, you say FF13 was a joke for the 360 guess what it was a joke for both systems. i got it for the PS3 and guess what the game just sucks, it had nothing to do for what system it was on, i just think your mad cause you lost another exclusive to the xbox guess who sucks now. the last really good JRPG that came out was lost Odyssey and wait...... let me look..... Oh that was for the 360, oh yeah it was alos made by the guy who used to make the FF games again guess who sucks now, why dont you go trole a PS3 topic.

Djin let me teach you something about Halo, you can call it genaric but guess what? 1st Halo is what basicly started the revalution of online console play, when Halo 2 hit the Xbox an explosion of gamers started live accounts and online play did not start but grew to a all time high to kick start the online play generation. 2nd it also jump started the long dead FPS game type. can you remember a great shooter around the time of halo 1, i cant, COD1 was a good game but not great. Just remember this, it went from Doom to Bond to Halo. you mignt not like it but without Halo you might not have frachises like Bad Compnay or MW. some time in the future the FPS gametype will dye out and a game like Halo will bring it back into the light and start another FPS explosion. Im not a Fanboy i just have respect for the game and what its done for gamming. you just might be a little dumb not to notice what halo has done for gammers. And even though you may or may not have played it, Halo has changed your gamming experice in ways you do not no. You dont have to like Halo But at least Show some respect for what the game has done for all of us

@ps3freek The gameplay is what makes Halo so Successful. Halo 3 is three years old. Halo ODST, while being an Expansion pack for the most part, still clocked in as being the number 9 best selling game of last year! Halo reach will put graphics back into the Halo series, the gameplay will be tight as ever. The big thing I love about the Halo Series is the lasting Online. 250 k a day. On a three year old game! Compare that to around the 10 k on Killzone 2 on PS3, which is less then a year old and was supposed to be the Halo Killer, well before Haze was supposed to be the Halo Killer...lol

I have to admit I never played Halo beyond Halo 1 demo. but I ll change that. Halo looks awesome, but I thought the beta is open for non-ODST buyers. dam! (n lost intentionally)

@ ps3freek Wow im sorry but your an idiot. Firstly, do you want to know why Halo graphics isnt as strong as other games like MW2? Because the games are almost a decade old! Halo 3 being over 3 years old, you cant compare such an old game to games that just released. The fact that people were STILL playing Halo 2 5 years after its release and in the past 24hours 240,000+ unique players played Halo 3 online. Halo was the first game to really reinvent the FPS and its online multiplayer concept that you see EVERY other FPS copying now. Also check out the controller scheme, every FPS after Halo CE has been copying it. And yes, Halo is huge on the story part; the Halo Universe is vast and diverse, and still young. PS. Halo 3: ODST wasn't as successful as Halo 3 but it was still successful. ODST has similar graphics to Halo 3 because it is using the same engine. ODST was almost an expansion rather than a full release. Play a game before you start judging and understand how old a game is when you compare it to other games your recently playing.

Anyone who asks why people like Halo is being an idiot. You've had 10 years to find out and either you already have found out, or you simply refused to listen in your own fanboyism. YOU NO LONGER NEED TO KEEP ASKING THIS QUESTION. Let me give you advice. From now on: Start saying, "I don't like Halo and you're strange/weird/wrong" or whatever word you want to insert here. Stop feigning interest by asking what people think is special about Halo because no one actually believes you're interested in the question you're asking.

@ Bashers79 I agree, I have said it myself. PS3 fanboys like to come into the XBox 360 topics because they are insecure about the PS3. XBox 360 is gaining momentum everyday. With the exclusive release schedule for the Xbox 360 this year it is looking like the gap is widening. Halo Reach is the "Biggie" and everyone know's it's going to sell millions and millions. I mean if 3 million people are buying into the beta, then thats a good indication on how well it's going to sell. A possible Slim Xbox 360 and Natal, Fable 3, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Ninety Nine Nights 2 and we've already seen Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. So it's clearly starting to get at the PS3 fanboys a bit. I mean God Of War will sell less then 2 million, while Halo Reach will probably sell 8 or 10 million, so I can see the jealousy there.

i just want to know what is so good aabout halo sereis cause it isnt the graphics could some one tell me . if its is the story of the game the online what ?

@Admcad If you're going to mention PS3 games that aren't out yet (i.e. GT) then you forgot Alan wake in the Xbox line-up. As for KZ2, apart from nice graphics its about as generic as they come, not to mention the done to death story line. I know this as I'm currently trying to muster the enthusiasm to finish it. That and Uncharted 1, another game that I can't be bothered to finish. I did enjoy inFamous, although by the third island I was starting to loose interest rapidly. You also mention a couple of online RPG's as well when we all know the best platform to play those kind of games is on the PC which 99.9% of Xbox owners will have access to as well. Seriously, whats with all the PS3 fanboys on here trolling, get over yourselves and go enjoy the games you have on your console, or shut up and buy both.

@Scottyboy771 I thought ODST was pretty darn good too! It was the darkest Halo there is so far, it had the doom3 type feel just because it was so dark. The storyline was interesting how everytime you find an item, you get to play the flash back and find out what happenend in that paticular spot. Not to metion it added a Halo 2 map I loved to mp. The ODST I bought at launch had a Reach beta sticker right on the front, that was one of reasons that swayed me to buy it, and I'm glad I did.

@ Stryder_18 It's class based, which is different. You can Sprint, which is different. The duel wielding is more balanced, same with the melee system. There is also less Armour. So it takes the good stuff from the other Halo games and add's thing's to make the game appeal to even more people!

BREAKING NEWS FROM M$ : Halo Reach 2 & 3 (and maybe 4) will be released a month apart after Halo Reach 1.

So is this like an expansion pack?! j/k The single player in reach looks to be interesting but the multiplayer seems like same old same old. I mean we get jet packs, can roll(for some reason), and ummm uhhhh ya thats the only things that stands out for me. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm in the Beta! I cant wait, Halo Reach is going to be huge. Pushing both Games and Consoles. I hope they come out with a Halo Bundle pack. I am thinking Halo Reach sells between 8-10 million units and we will definitely see a surge in XBox 360 sales as a result. CANT WAIT!

I didn't like ODST enough to buy it so I will be waiting for this.. now if you could download it from xbl I would be delighted but bungie always wants you to spend something before you get something back so the only way I can get it is to buy or rent ODST so I'll rent it later

Why all the PS3 fanboy hate? Seriously this has nothing to do with you, theres the door, leave. I can't wait personally for the beta, but I may make that judgement call and not do it. I don't think I have the time and I refuse to even pretend like I do and take up one spot that could be used by someone who does have the time. Even if it doesn't work like that, its a safe bet that Reach is going to be a fantastic game, especially with everyones support from the beta, you guys rock.

look ff 13 for 360 is a joke compared to the ps3 version

@ Dark_metalsonic First, usually the guys who say things like "Only virgins play this game" on game forums, are the virgins themselves. @melty3219 Huh? I surely didn't buy an XBOX 360 for Halo. I have played them at a friends house, never again. I couldn't stand how all the faces looked like crap and how the game was so watered down and generic. BUT, since it was a first for a lot of fanbois, they think it's the best. I've been playing FPS since DOOM and Heretic for the PC since 1990. Halo is so basic it's not even funny.

@drangel_jam Amen brother. I loved every halo game but couldn't explain why I stopped playing each one. You hit the nail on the head. @Admcad You forgot Mass Effect 1&2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and MW2 Multiplayer that is played at a vastly higher level than that of the PS3 (I've played both) just to name a few.

And the hype train starts rolling. Nothing against Halo nor 360 owners on that one.

Look all 360 fanboys need to relize halo is about the only good game you have besides gears and fable and foraza....thats about it......congrats ps3 has god of war uncharted infamous killzone2 little big planet home better final fantasy 13 metal gear solid 4 heavy rain resistance 1 & 2 demon souls modnation racers socom warhawk gran turismo dc universe online final fantasy 14 online and versus...o and the controller uses bluetoth and is way more energy efficent then infrared......o i forgot you guys also have banjo kazooie

I thought that ODST was a good game, the campaign was a big change from the usual halo campaigns

I just hope that their new IP doesn't play like Halo. I love the gameplay and all, but for some reason I consumed Halo 3 compulsively, and 6 months later, I wasn't really playing it as much. Because I just found others games fresher, not necessarily better, just great fresher gaming experiences compared to Halo since I've been gaming that thing since 2002. And I understand Reach will be deliberately similar to Halo 3 because of its strong fan base, I'll buy it on day one, but for that reason alone, I don't think I'll be playing that game the GoW and TCGReckons, are out and kicking. Another thing that made pull away from Halo is the pricing of the multiplayer maps, and how they create new playlists' requisites just make you limited without the maps. Also, the best thing about Halo 3, wasn't used nearly to its full potential, Forge Mode, because Bungie didn't create Forge playlists or matchmakings, so those big team Forge sessions with a captain providing reinforcements and spawning necessary vehicles and items remained theoretical. MSFT needs to make their costumers feel worth it, like in Halo 2, when we'd get stuff for free. Jeez, put some ads in the game lobbies or something, if it means free DLC... Not that Halo in itself can't already pay all DLC by itself.

@SolanOcard they explained the new weapons and armor; this squad of spartans are on a planet that has lots of experimental weapons that they had exclusive access to but since the planet was destroyed this tech was lost. and about the new covenant species? the covenant aren't a race they are a you guessed it; a covenant and are constantly adding different races which is why this one features elites more than brutes compared to halo3

My all time favorite halo though is halo combat evolved. Mainly because it was a long campaign. But im pretty sure Reach will be the ultimate.
