Halo Infinite has been delayed to 2021, but that isn't stopping a Monster Energy promotion from moving forward. A new post on the Xbox Blog reconfirms that the promotion is moving forward as planned and gives a look at some of the prizes being offered.

"Partnerships like this don't happen overnight, and this one has been in the works for a long time," the blog explains. It goes on to detail how double XP boosts are available as one per can, which means if you get a 24-pack you'll get a full two dozen boosts to use. You can earn up to 60 in total, and bank them now for use when the game launches. You can cash in your receipts through the official site, which will then generate a code for you to input at Halo Waypoint.

Now Playing: Halo Infinite - Everything You Need To Know

You can also unlock a Snapchat filter, several cosmetics like green-and-black weapon coatings, and Phalanx and Xiphos player and weapon emblems. Each month will introduce a series of new AR challenges as well, which you can complete to earn cosmetic items. The blog also mentions that you'll be able to obtain those items through some special retailer promotions with Walmart, Meijer, and some grocery stores.

Redeeming your codes will also enter you into a drawing to win the grand prize, a trip for two to Paris, France. Two hundred winners will also get an Xbox Series X console.

The initial announcement hadn't suggested any possibility of delaying the promotion, but now that the site is live and the Monster cans are appearing in stores it makes sense to reconfirm. The promo will run through December 31, 2020. A new release date for Halo Infinite has not been set.
