Guilty Gear XX revealed
The sequel to Guilty Gear X is expected to hit the arcade scene in Japan this spring.
On Wednesday, Sammy officially announced Guilty Gear XX, the third installment in its popular 2D fighting game series. Two new characters, Slayer and Bridget, will join the list of playable characters. It is not yet known whether all the characters from its previous title are expected to return. The game will now incorporate a five-button system (as opposed to four in the previous), though the purpose of the new fifth button has not yet been disclosed.
Currently 30 percent complete, Guilty Gear XX runs on the NAOMI GD-ROM and is expected for an arcade release in Japan this spring. No console version has been announced as of press time.
