GTA 5: Here's What's on Sale and How to Earn Double XP This Week

Rockstar Games has announced the newest weekly offers for Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode, GTA Online. Now through Thursday, August 25, Rockstar is offering double GTA$ and RP opportunities as well as a new stunt jumpsuit and a variety of discounts for vehicles and ammo.

You now now earn double GTA$ and RP in the Entourage playlist, which features maps in El Burro Heights, Paleto Bay, and Pillbox Hill. Every Entourage map will pay out double GTA$ and RP all week.

Another way to earn double GTA$ and RP this week is to play Rockstar-made stunt races, which arrived to GTA Online last month through the Cunning Stunts update. All stunt races yield the bonuses.

Continuing the stunt theme, Rockstar has added a red stunt jumpsuit to the game. All you have to do to get the item is log into GTA Online between now and August 25.

In other stunt news, the Plummet challenge for supercars has been chosen as this week's premium stunt race. Finish fist and you'll get $100,000, while second and third pay out $30,000 and $20,000 respectively. Even if you don't make the podium, everyone gets triple RP for participating in this premium race, which can be found at the yellow premium race blip at Legion Square or through the Quick Job app on the in-game smartphone. You need to pay $20,000 worth of in-game cash to race.

Lastly, there are major markdowns on a variety of GTA Online vehicles and ammo. The Grotti X80 Proto, Dewbauchee Seven-70, Progen Tyrus, and Vapid Desert Raid cars are all 25 percent off. You can also pick up the HVY Insurgent armored vehicle for 50 percent off. You normally have to complete the Humane Labs heist to buy it, but that prerequisite has been waived for this week. Additionally, sniper rifles, miniguns, launches, and ammo are all 50 percent off for the duration of the sale period.
