GT Gets Earful From Midway
Midway Games "disappointed" in GT Interactive's own "failures and shortcomings."
In a compact, terse statement released Wednesday morning, Midway Games responded to a lawsuit filed by GT Interactive on Monday (see related link to right).
Midway expressed "disappointment with GT Interactive's attempt to blame Midway for GT Interactive's own business failures and shortcomings." The statement indicated that "Midway had previously notified GT Interactive of GT Interactive's failure to perform under the parties' agreements."
Midway attorneys indicated to GameSpot News that they would soon respond to the charges. Wednesday's statement promised "a vigorous defense of GT Interactive's allegations."
