Grand Theft Auto V's online mode won't be available at launch

NOOOOOOO, they don't realize that my LIVE runs out in January! And I'm not willing to give Microsoft any more of my money! This is bad, really bad. This ruined my plan of playing the shit out of online until my LIVE runs out, then I no-life the single player to 100%... FUUUUUUCK, oh well, too bad school will keep me from playing this masterpiece for more than 5 hours a week lol

I assume it's a free download if you own the game, right?

I'm amazed at the positive responses below. I'm just glad to see that rockstar is willing to take the time to get the mp experience right. I know it will be something special.

I have a feeling this is the topic for the next Feedbacula. Personally I don't mind the GTAV:Online delay at all.

It's a couple of weeks only and will give us a nice amount of time to focus solely on single player without feeling we're falling behind by not playing online.

Having Online to go to will be our saving grace when facing the inevitable disappointment of GTA V's single player campaign ending.

Any chance of having private servers and LAN? I hate playing with random strangers.

I really hope Rockstar will bring this to PC. This is the first time i wish that i wasn't exclusively a PC gamer :O

I think the wait is an awesome thing. It's a chance to enjoy single player for about 2 weeks. GTA Online seems like a totally separate game with it's progression and ability to make missions. I enjoyed free mode so much and this sounds like every single thing I could have ever wanted, full player customization and progression with built in missions/activities and the ability to create more. How on Earth could you want anything more?

Please release GTAV online mode never. I hated the online in IV.

I understand the reasoning and that's w/e. It's still kinda lame especially after seeing the trailer. Besides when it came to GTA IV and Red Dead I enjoy playing both SP and MP I don't focus on one mode and neglect the other.

I never played GTA for the MP so I'm goodie. But I shall actually try this one with friends at some point.

The fact that the multiplayer is damn near its own game, this makes complete sense. Its no wonder this game has taken so long; they've been developing 2 games at once!

I always finish SP campaign be4 delving into MP so this doesnt bother me at all. Prob take me a couple months to finish SP (hopefully)

This is good as it gives players time to soak in a good deal of essence from the single player before they head out online (if they choose)!!

Shit don't kill the moment right after you reveal online.... but regardless i'm still pumped.
