@isildor: Over what price point? The one you just made up in your head?
I haven't seen the game cheaper in any store to date but I guess those are way over your fictional price point too.

@magnusstorm: well the game 69.99 or sort of is not normal price 59.99 for new games and this is not a new game, on steam the price drop on sale to 30 dollars, but here on sale cost a lot more. The same apply to marvel avengers lego i saw the game for 69.99 but in pc 30 dollars new. For digital content and not physical copy is waaaaaay overprice.

@isildor: You aren't talking about GTAV but just random, cheap games. GTAV isn't a random, cheap game. The GTAV game is 59.99 on PSN and Steam regularly any other price you see isn't just for GTAV. Slow down. Read. Think. Think some more.

@isildor: Age is only one part of pricing.(Smart tip: All old games don't become $30 in 6 months.) Demand is important too. There are probably other factors that business people use to set prices. Your tiny notion is not enough and you clearly lack any understanding of business. All you know is your personal, uninformed opinion. Again, this article isn't using pricing on your store. It's in USD. THE MSRP for GTAV is $59.99 USD on Steam, PSN, and XBL. The sale on PSN is $38.99USD which is the lowest price the game has ever been new, digital or physical.

You say only a fool accept these prices and yet you can't even tell what currency is being used or what region is this article covers.

@magnusstorm: ok, i understand is their product, they can sell it for one hundred dollars if they want to, if in usa ps store its a sale from 59.99 ps4 version to 38.99, well ok. In my country in the same sell it doesnt ps4 version is 74 dollars not 59.99. Overall as i said every major title drop price with time, this game doesnt, as you said probably because people still buy it. Of course, if you have pc and ps4, buying this on ps4 is a bad bussiness if you can wait for a real price cut. Then again is all matter of opinion, for me is way overpriced, at this time should be 40 dollars or so...for me...but if some people pay the 59.99 obviously why drop it if still sell well.

@Tanares: Keep in mind Rockstar hasn't released any new single-player content for GTA V because they're making more $$$ from GTA Online microtransactions.

@Spartan_418: Keep what in mind? The guy said they are a good studio. So as a good studio they have more fans on GTAO than they thought and those fans spend a lot of money. Rockstar decided to keep making content for those active and lucrative players. The market at work.

So many of these games have been much cheaper in past PSN sales. What gives Rockstar?

RDR on PS3 is somewhat appealing, as an excuse to play through it again

Since it's unclear if/when RDR will become backwards compatible on Xbone, and I much prefer the DualShock 3 over the 360 pad.

There isn't a game I don't own.

I would buy vice city or san Andreas for the Vita of they released it though.

I hope this means they will release something new soon though.
