Jarhead Games has today updated the forums on its official Web site with news that, after some last-minute bug fixing, balancing, and polishing, Western Outlaw has gone gold. The game, which will be published by Groove Games at the end of this month, is a Wild West-themed first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a mysterious gunslinger.

Western Outlaw will feature 10 levels in total, and as players armed with authentic six-shooters, rifles, and shotguns progress through the game, they'll be able to ride horses, stage coaches, and mine carts. Western Outlaw is currently scheduled for release on September 30. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
