PAX East is next week and if you're planning to attend (we certainly are!), you'll likely be happy to learn that Microsoft today officially announced its schedule for the show.

The event, which runs April 11-13, is entirely sold out. If you couldn't get a ticket you can still attend Microsoft's Xbox Store Event on Thursday, April 10 starting at 7 p.m. at the Natick Mall. Here at this event Microsoft will provide the first ever public demonstration of Rock Band developer's upcoming Xbox-exclusive music game Fantasia: Music Evolved. Attendees can also play unreleased ID@Xbox games and Kinect Sports Rivals.

During PAX East itself, Microsoft will hold three panels. These are listed below.

Saturday, April 12

  • "Project Spark: Playing is Creating: How to transform from an everyday gamer to a creative visionary with Project Spark." Starts at 12 noon in the Albatross Theatre.
  • "Titanfall: Looking Back & Moving Forward." Starts at 4:30 p.m. in the Main Theatre.
  • "Major Nelson Radio - Live!" Starts at 6 p.m. in the Albatross Theatre

Finally, Microsoft will have an array of games on display at its booth on the PAX East show floor. These include Kinect Sports Rivals, Titanfall, Project Spark, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, and ID@Xbox games Super Time Force and Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut. Xbox One launch titles Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Killer Instinct will also be playable at Microsoft's booth.

Sony and Nintendo are not attending PAX East 2014. For more on GameSpot's plans for the show, be sure to read this blog post from GameSpot editor-in-chief Justin Calvert.
