Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Tickets Are Now On Sale

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire releases in theaters on March 29, and ahead of that, tickets for the absolutely bonkers-sounding film are now on sale.

Warner Bros. has released a "tickets on sale" trailer for The New Empire that provides a new look at the action film. Whereas Godzilla and King Kong were once adversaries, now they have to work together or "face extinction." It's very silly, yes. Here's the trailer:

Adam Wingard, who directed 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong, returns to direct The New Empire. Many of the cast of the earlier films, including Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle are back as well, alongside newcomers Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.

Godzilla vs. Kong writer Terry Rossio came back to write The New Empire alongside Simon Barrett (You're Next) and Jeremy Slater (Moon Knight).

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is part of what's called a "Monsterverse" that began with 2014's Godzilla. This also included Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
