God of War movie gets Saw writers

Yeah cause these writers make sense. They wrote a crappy, not scary, gore filled psychological horror movie. The only part of that I can see is the gory part. This movie is already doomed. I really wish they would get someone better. If they screw this up, I'm gonna spam these two idiots with hatemail until their inbox explodes!

Djimon Hounsue is the only guy I can imagine playing kratos.

They're trying to get into the "ancient Greece" bandwagon, they see that movies like clash & wrath of the titans, 300 and, even immortals make money right now and they think they can ca$h in. I hope they at least make an effort to come up with a good story with a decent director and cast.

Seriously, WHAT?? The Saw movies were scary, yeah, but c'mon! God Of War is crazy gore and alot of action for the sake of action... Saw is a gory psychological horror film.

I really don't know how to feel about this, honestly.

"Hello Kratos, I wanna play a game. The objective of the game is you have to kill all those who taint the video game genre with s*itty movies or you can let it happen and watch as your name goes down in dog pile. Make your choice." Now this movie's gonna be a SUCKcess.

sure, join the group. Everyone else is making their own version of game-to-movie. Bunch of no-talent losers who just happens to have a pile load of money under their bedsheets which they wanna piss off.

OK. So the movie will be extremally violent. And will suck.

The Videogame writters should just write the damn movie. And the movie should be an animation, like Beowulf. The THAT is something I'd pay to watch. Santa Monica Studios could make the movie themselfs.

My advise to every one who loves the GOW games and good films : ABANDON ALL HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw writers .... ugh. This is not exactly the pedigree I would expect to make a good GOW movie. Yes, GOW had a lot of gore, but Kratos was actually an endearing character that didn't feel like a douchebag despite him slaughtering entire coliseums worth of mythological creatures in every game. It takes some sophistication on the writer's behalf to pull that off - something that I highly doubt the Saw writer have in them.

i dont know, i think the franchise had already lost a lot of cred when "it is going to be a trilogy" became a trilogy and multipule spin offs... might as well put the moive nail in the coffin; what do the creators care, they are getting paid....
