Go! Go! Hypergrind site opens

Atlus announces the launch of an official Web site dedicated to its upcoming cel-shaded skateboarding game.

Comments

Atlus has today launched an official Web site dedicated to Go! Go! Hypergrind for the GameCube. The cel-shaded skateboarding game, which is currently in development at Team Poponchi, features 11 playable characters designed by SPUMCO--the animation studio responsible for The Ren & Stimpy Show.

"Go! Go! Hypergrind takes the skateboarding genre and does a complete 180°," said Sonoko Saito, product manager at Atlus. "The compelling audition-style game progression coupled with the negative reaction combo system makes for a very unique and different video game skateboarding experience. If you like skateboarding and crazy off-the-wall humor, then this game is for you."

The Web site launched today features gameplay information, character profiles, screenshots and movies, downloadable wallpapers and icons, and its own forums. For more information on Go! Go! Hypergrind, which is currently scheduled for release in North America on November 18, check out our previous coverage of the game.
