Ubi Soft Entertainment has announced that its upcoming tactical shooter Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is now scheduled for release on November 13, a week earlier than expected. The company also released two new screenshots showing off some of the characters, environments, and lighting effects that will appear in the game.

Ghost Recon focuses on modern-day squad-based tactical combat, and it includes both large open environments and smaller interior areas. It also features better animation and graphics than the previous Tom Clancy games, along with a number of new gameplay features such as character development and the ability to take control of any of the characters on the squad.

Ghost Recon is in development at Red Storm Entertainment, the studio that created some of the previous Tom Clancy games. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the game.
