GameSpot's Best of Show Winners for E3 2013

@malokevi @mlp071 Explain to me why a game company/console manufacturer charges you $60 for a digital download of something you know it's costing them much less nowadays. As consumers the only thing you can do is boycott stuff like that until they realize that the plan isn't going to fly. Getting a PC with Steam is the better deal nowadays, plus you can use it for a lot more stuff than just gaming/living room.

I like videogames.

I don't care what other gamers think or say. That's doesn't factor into my decision. On top of that, I'm probably getting a PS4 for christmas this year, and I wan't nothing more than for it to be a great console.

But that doesn't mean that the alternative isn't awesome. Microsoft has an interesting vision for this generation, one which I have been anticipating for a while, and one that I support completely.

Not to mention that these consoles are still 5 months off...

90% of what he said doesn't matter, and the rest is just exaggerations and BS. Yawn.

I know 4 a fact there are tons of people excited about Xbox One. Read IGN, read N4G, even here... slowly people are starting to understand that the Xbox is offering something special.

In any case, when people get their hands on the console it will be all over. Its going to be a nice machine, to say the least!

You sure about that co-op play, in an interview with Major Nelson he said two people can't use a game at the same time.

Since they give you all the options you would ever want I guess you can rent a game to check it out before you buy it, for me that's good because I am always looking for new games to buy. Without renting all I will buy are games that I know for a fact are good.

It's also nice that you can take the Kinect off and just sell it to GameStop or something, since I don't need it or want it.

Plus if my internet goes out I can just play single player games until it comes back on, that's always a nice feature.

Plus it's awesome that if I'm a little low on cash and a game comes out that I really want all I have to do is go down to GameStop and trade in some games and wah-lah the new game is mine to do what ever I want to do with it.

It's also nice that it doesn't have that cheap hot running crappy eSRAM that will probably lead to overheating problems and more cracked lead-free solder.

Also I hear the crappy eSRAM is creating framerate problems with all that heat, I'm glad we don't have to worry about that.

Plus it is 2013 and I don't know why all the other companies out there want to make their consoles with this old tech, but for me AA batteries in my controller is the future of gaming so get with it people.

Plus my neighbors live in an internet dead zone so this is great that I can save them some money on renting and just let them try out my games for a few days.

Sometimes I also like to buy used games that I'm not sure about, like one time there was this game called Batman Arkham Asylum and I wasn't sure if it would be for me so I bought it used and guess what it was awesome so I bought all the DLC then I bought Batman Arkham City and all it's DLC new by the way because when you know the game is good you need to support the devs as much as you can, and get this a new one is coming out and this time it is pre-ordered, wow imagine if I couldn't of bought that first used copy who knows I may have missed out on that whole franchise and so many others, but we don't need to worry about that, because this does everything you want.

It's also nice that they made it 30-50% less powerful then the competition, I'm mean power isn't everything right, that's for like jocks and weight lifters, were gamers we don't need power, we need some company you no someone to talk to so now we don't need anyone I can just talk to my console and that's all we gamers really wanted.

And now I can replace my DVR with a DVR and I can replace my DirecTV menu with one that is choppy and freezes but who cares about that because it's the future.

Well I could go on forever about this wonderful system that gives you what you want but I should stop, I wouldn't want people to get to jealous about our futuristic TV machine.

There is the interview. I've got it so that it goes right to the part you're talking about. Nelson said that you can share your entire library between 10 people. That was an on-the-spot interview. I have read elsewhere that 2 at a time, with 8 others abel to play as long as the main console isnt playing.

I couldnt find any of the blogs you were referring to.

In any case, we can argue specifics, speak in generalities... but at the end of the day there is going to be a feature basically akin to what were hearing about now. Everything thats in the published license I posted earlier will make its way to the console. I dont expect them to have everything fully decided at this point, nor do I expect that even the most informed Microsoft rep could possibly know all of the specific details regarding their policies. After all, they are treading new territory, and trying to accommodate everyone in the process.

Whether people are willing to admit it or not, its going to be an awesome feature. It takes any reasonable complaints about sharing games with friends and throws it out the window. Not only that, but it makes sharing easier across time/space.

I think they have got a "w" on their hands.

Yah Angry Joe interview with "Major" Nelson(Who made that a Major is beyond me, though).

@malokevi @udubdawgz it's just that there have been quite a few individuals who have taken a closer look at their "family plan" and there are relatively few absolutes and lots of conflicting info.

plus, there are the msoft spokesmen videos themselves that let you know they don't even have it down.

i haven't personally researched it, so, i can't vouch for any of it. but, there are multiple people with opposite pts of view and i have seen the videos and their incomplete answers to the questions involving the family plan.

as well, i'm a consumer skeptic and if it sounds too good...

check mineravatar's blog about it and that recent interview link (ken?) and some of the others.

@malokevi i'd seriously suggest you hold off on your analysis of their "family plan" until later.

it has some huge gaps that they've yet to fill in, despite, what their talking points state.

I'm sorry I meant fall for the PS4 release, but spring for InFamous, that sucks, oh well there will be many games to keep me busy till then.
