Microsoft announced the next few weeks of Xbox game Pass games coming to PC and console, but a few are rotating out as well. You have just over a week to play the games slated for rotation.

On June 27, Next Up Hero will retire from the service. Then on June 30, Game Pass will sunset Dead Island Definitive Edition, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, Shadow Complex Remastered, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Zombie Army Trilogy.

If you want to keep any of these games in your library permanently, your Game Pass subscription grants you a 20% discount on game purchases, as long as you make those purchases while the games are still part of the Game Pass service. Otherwise, just get your time in while you can.

Game Pass costs $10 per month for a standard subscription on PC or Xbox One, but Microsoft recently introduced a new Game Pass Ultimate that bundles both along with Xbox Live Gold for $15 per month. You can try the Ultimate version of the service for $1 for your first month, or take advantage of a little loophole to upgrade your current Gold or Game Pass time on the cheap.

The announcement came alongside new games that are rotating into Game Pass as well. Those include Resident Evil: Revelations, Rare Replay, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and Goat Simulator to close out the month of June.

This is why I don't support these services. I want my games available for any time, even if ten years pass between a play session.

@besighyawn: specifically for gaming, no, I do not and never will. Neither will I support microtransactions, ever.

@poseidion: Your loss then. In my case, I play a game, finish it, next game in queue. Almost never replay a game, so for me subscriptions like Gamepass are perfect. For $10/month I get to play many games a month, saving me a lot of money in the process.
