Game.com Enters Portable Market

Tiger took its Game.com handheld to Atlanta to show off some newly developed titles.

Comments

Tiger showed up at E3 in Atlanta last week to show this year's only new video game platform.

The Game.com is a black and white, handheld video game system with a stylus pen and personal organizer (among other features) built-in. The $69.99 system comes with two games - Lights Out and Solitaire - with others available for around $20.

Tiger showed an impressive number of game titles running on Game.com. Fighter's Megamix, while running only on a small demo, looked impressive with smooth animation and clear graphics (this using shades of only two core colors). Other titles shown were Midway's Arcade Classics, Duke Nukem, Madden Football, and Jurassic Park: The Lost World.

The system is expected to be on sale beginning in July.
