Game Boy's Robopon

Atlus has announced a new role-playing/collecting game for the Game Boy Color called Robopon. In the game, players must collect, equip, and train more than 150 robots known as Robopon. Players can tweak and customize more than 100 different parts.

The Robopon game also comes with a built-in IR port. Using the wireless connection, players can trade information between two or more Robopon games and can manipulate aspects of the game itself by using any electronic device that transmits IR signals.

Robopon plays on all current Game Boy handhelds and will be released in winter 2000.
