American Horror Story And Sons of Anarchy Are Among The FX Shows You Can Now Watch On Hulu

One of the results of the Disney/Fox deal last year is that Disney now has majority ownership of Hulu. We've already seen Disney move some Fox TV content onto Disney+--most notably The Simpsons--and now some the more mature Fox shows have hit Hulu, with the launch of the 'FX on Hulu' hub.

The new hub features a wide variety of shows made by FX--in total there will be 39 series and around 1,600 episodes. The highest profile titles include American Horror Story, Sons of Anarchy, Fargo, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, plus such popular dramas and comedies as Atlanta, Justified, Damages, Rescue Me, and Terriers. The hub is also set to include upcoming FX shows like the much-anticipated Alex Garland-created thriller DEVS.

There's no extra cost for these shows for Hulu subscribers. FX on Hulu has been added to the standard $12-a-month Hulu subscription, and there's also a $6 subscriber level to watch Hulu with ads. In addition, a $13-a-month bundle gets you Disney+, Hulu (with ads), and ESPN Plus.

The new FX content has been added to Hulu as the streaming wars continue to heat up. As well as Disney+ and Apple TV Plus, which arrived in late 2019, WarnerMedia's HBO Max is set to launch in May 2020, while NBC Universal's Peacock is also due later this year.
