First look: Tekken GBA

Namco releases the first screenshots from the Game Boy Advance version of Tekken.

Comments
The first screenshots from Tekken for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance have been posted on the Japanese Web site GameWatch. The screens highlight characters such as Hwoarang, Paul Phoenix, Yoshimitsu, King, and Nina Williams, among others. As reported yesterday, Tekken GBA will play from a quasi-3D perspective--the camera scales and the characters are able to move around each other while on the same 2D plane. Modes of play include the traditional arcade, survival, time attack, practice, and tag-team battle. No release date or pricing has been announced at this time. Namco Hometek has not announced the game's release status for the North American market, but it is very likely that the game will be released in that territory.
