First look: Shadow of the Sun

New UK-based developer HotHead Studios has updated its official Web site with new information on Shadow of the Sun. The game is a first-person shooter in which players will assume the role of a once-powerful vampire who has been incarcerated for hundreds of years by the Vampire council.

Shadow of the Sun will be very much story-driven, with players escaping from prison and attempting to aid a beautiful woman they know only from a haunting vision. In addition to using weapons like crossbows and stakes, players will be able to learn a number of vampire abilities in the game, although details on these abilities have not been released at this time.

No release date has been announced for Shadow of the Sun, but we'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
