UK-based budget games publisher Play It has today announced that it will release Motorsiege: Warriors of Primetime in Europe next month. The game, which has been developed by Lightspeed Games, will see players taking control of heavily armed futuristic vehicles, with names like Armadillo, Firestorm, and Nubber, and doing combat in specially designed arenas.

"Motorsiege: Warriors of Primetime is a fast-paced, stylized 3D combat racing game featuring deadly and dynamic environments, a wide range of gameplay modes, and strong rival characters--making it the perfect partner for the console gamer," said Mark Cale, president of Play It.

Weapons in Motorsiege will include blast mines, mininukes, seeker missiles, mortar launchers, plasma cannons, heavy lasers, rocket pods, and plasma pulse rifles. The game will feature both career and arcade modes of play, and game types on offer will include deathmatch, survival, siege, and chase.

Motorsiege: Warriors of Primetime is currently scheduled for release in Europe in October, and it will carry a budget price tag of 9.99 pounds ($15.90). No North American publisher for the game has been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
