First look: FirePower

GMX Media has today announced that it has secured the worldwide publishing rights to FirePower and has released the first information on the game. Currently in development at Shockwave Productions, FirePower is an add-on pack for Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator 3 that adds 12 new aircraft and more than 50 missions to the game.

Specific gameplay details for FirePower are scarce at present, but today's press release from GMX mentions that players will be able to fly the famous B-17 Flying Fortress as part of a large bomber formation or, if they prefer, attack a similar bomber formation from the cockpit of some of Germany's most ingenious aircraft.

No release date for FirePower has been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
