Like other games in the series, Fire Emblem Engage puts you in command of a small army of unique characters in a fantasy world. This particular entry in the series plays like a highlight reel of previous Fire Emblem games, as you can fuse your characters with the power of protagonists from older games. This new "Engage" mechanic puts a neat spin on the traditional turn-based strategy gameplay, opening up new options on the battlefield.

There's also the standard--and thankfully, optional--permadeath mode if you want to experience the story with actual consequences for tactical blunders.
