Final Fantasy 15 Delay Confirmed, New Release Date Announced

Good. I would rather wait two months for a well-polished game than a turd they pushed out too early.

That's pretty pathetic. They've been making this for 10 years and they still need two more months? Is this game actually coming out or are they just trying to take in more cash on the hype? I have a feeling no amount of time and polish will help it live up to people's expectations.

Massive day one patch download averted. I'm glad they decided against that and went for the delay instead. There are plenty of other games to play in the meantime so no worries here.

welcome to devolopment hell folks. Id be pretty amazed if the game actually makes that date. but apparently my opinions are wrong so i wont say more then that.

all im going to say is F-ck square for waiting till the whole weekend to tell us this. The rumors started on Friday hours BEFORE their new trailer went up which showed the old date. if they had taken oh i dont know 5 seconds to tweet that it was a delay or 5 minutes to upload the same video they did today. it would have a) not made me look like a complete idiot) and b) stopped all the speculation.

Plain and simple just don't give a release date if your gonna change it. Still getting the game hopefully douch-enix gives us some type of extra dlc for there lies lol.

I'd rather see a game delayed and complete than a game make it's arbitrary date, and get patched to hell to finish it weeks later. Now what very recent big name release is doing that? hmmm.

I canceled my preorder. I'll get it next summer when it'll probably cost $20. I would of given you full prize SquareEnix! Now, you will only get $20 from me for delaying it one more time!

When I play Final Fantasy, it's not for "freedom and realism." I don't think any amount of delays is going to save the game at this point.

I have so many unfinished games as it is, I will gladly take the delay. Still need to finish the Witcher and its expansions and move on to Quantum break.

This game better be a 10/10

No surprise, they are waiting for the Backstreet Boys to release a new album so they can use it in the game for the main theme song.

lol if would look any good I might care, but from what I've seen and what I've played in both demos, this is going to be one of the worst JRPGs this gen

LIESSSSS LOL. Real reason is because a September release date would force earnings into Q3, not just that but it would diminish Q4 earning since the game would have a $20-30 price drop for the holiday season. Also they are avoiding competition with big September/October releases. To avoid all that and maximize profits, it's better to just release it in November, especially since nothing else is really coming out then to interfere with the release.

They might as well delay it forever, I'm getting Forza Horizon 3 instead anyways.
