To celebrate the debut of the Fallout TV series on Prime Video, Bethesda has made Fallout 76 free for a week. Now through April 18, everyone can play Fallout 76 for free across Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. This is the full game, not just a slice of it. The game is already available on Xbox Game Pass, but now an even larger group of people can play it at no extra cost. Additionally, it's worth noting that Fallout 76 is entirely free to keep right now through Prime Gaming.

If you enjoy the game and want to keep the post-nuclear fallout action going, Bethesda is offering 80% off the standard edition (down to $8) and 67% off the deluxe edition (down to $20). Anyone who already owns Fallout 76 can get the High Stakes bundle for 50% off right now. This includes the Honey Pot' Gold Slot Machine, the Civic Duty Power armor, and C.A.M.P. items.

The timing of these offers varies by platform.

  • Xbox: April 9 – April 19
  • PlayStation: April 10 – April 24
  • Steam: April 11 – April 19

Additionally, Bethesda announced that Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 are now playable via the cloud through GeForce Now. On top of that, Fallout 76 is adding themed content from the TV show, as everyone who logs in to Fallout 76 between now and May 7 can get the Vault 33 jumpsuit free.

Game Pass Ultimate members, meanwhile, can get the Vault 33 Survival Kit, which comes with Lucy's Vault 33 backpack from the TV series and a variety of consumables. Check out the image below to see more.

This isn't the only Fallout promotion going on now, as Fallout Shelter players on mobile can grab content themed around the TV series. Additionally, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are free right now for Prime subscribers through Luna and Fallout 4's long-awaited PS5/Xbox Series X|S update is finally coming soon.
