Fallout 4 Creation Kit Beta Expanding, Here's How to Sign Up
You may be able to try out the modding tools before they're released publicly.
Didn't get into the Fallout 4 Creation Kit beta on PC? Your chances of getting in may be improving, as Bethesda has announced it's expanding the beta--and it's easy to throw your name into the hat.
In a forum post (via Polygon), Bethesda outlined the instructions for how you can opt in. Here they are:
- Please sign up for our DLC beta here (NOTE: this includes our non-disclosure agreement)
- Reply to this post by saying the following: YES (and nothing more)
Fallout 4's Creation Kit launches for in full for PC players sometime in April. Though a release date has not been announced, the beta expanding suggests it may be releasing soon. Players can use the Creation Kit to make mods and more for Fallout 4. Some of these mods will be playable on console, starting with Xbox One and followed by PlayStation 4.
The first Fallout 4 expansion was Automatron, which came out on March. The next add-on, Wasteland Workshop, is due to launch on April 12.
April 12 is shaping up to be a busy day for gaming. In addition to Wasteland Workshop, that's the date when major updates arrive for Destiny and The Division; it's also the launch date for Dark Souls III (in the west) and Ratchet & Clank.
