Ex-developers of AAA games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hitman, and Dying Light have teamed up to form a new development studio in Wroclaw, Poland.

The studio is called Strange New Things, and its website states the team is composed of "ex-AAA developers that wanted more." Those developers have come from CD Projekt Red, IO Interactive, Techland, and more.

Now Playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Review

Strange New Things is currently working on its first project, but details are unclear: the website simply calls refers to the game as "Project [BLANK]."

"This is the project name of our upcoming game that will be about [BLANK], which is set in [BLANK], from the perspective [BLANK]," it states. "This project holds a special place in our heart. It tells the story of a particular moment in a particular time and place. That moment made a huge impact on [BLANK].

"All will be revealed at the right time," the blurb concludes.

The studio's pedigree is impressive: The Witcher 3 won GameSpot's Game of the Year in 2015, while we also enjoyed both Dying Light and Hitman. The latter came in our top 25 games of 2016, and recently got a new trailer to celebrate its upcoming disc release--check it out here.
