EVE moves to 2003, adds sign-ups
The upcoming massively multiplayer game has been rescheduled for release next year.
Developer CCP and publisher Simon & Schuster Interactive have announced that their upcoming space-based online game, EVE Online: The Second Genesis, has been delayed until next March. The game is currently in its fourth phase of beta testing, and according to the game's producer, Mike Wallis, "delaying the game to fine-tune the features through an extended beta period is essential to deliver a game that is 'beyond earth-shattering.'" In addition to extending the beta test, the developer will be admitting an additional 10,000 beta testers into the game in the next few months. Those interested in participating in the beta can sign up at our previous coverage.
