ESPN, GameWorks host competition
GameWorks locations across the US are the site of a ESPN-backed videogame competition.
The ESPN Videogames Play Action Tour has already begun (it kicked off on September 27), but there remains time to compete and walk away a winner.
The tour, which is taking place at various GameWorks locations, began September 27 in Chicago. The games finish up with a championship event in Las Vegas on November 22.
Participants compete in two age-based groups: The Rookie Tournament is for contestants 13 to 17 years of age, while individuals 18 and over participate in the Pro Tournament.
