With $250,000 on the line in Poland last weekend, it seemed almost as if fate guided the Polish Virtus.pro to a 1st place finish over the most consistent team in the world in NiP.

As competition from all around the world descended upon Katowice a few days ago, it was up to Virtus.pro to defend their country's honor in Spodek Arena. Saying that they delivered would be an understatement as the Poles dispatched of NiP in a dominating 2-0 sweep where the closest scoreline reached was 16-10, in favor of the homecrowd's favorites.
