El Dorado Update

Capcom has confirmed the Japanese release date for the first volume in its multichapter Dreamcast RPG series, El Dorado Gate. The first game in the series will be released on October 10 in Japan. Two more chapters will be released this year, and further titles in the series are planned for release on a bimonthly basis. The entire series is composed of 24 chapters. El Dorado Gate Vol. 1 will retail for 2,800 yen (US$26) in Japan.

Capcom has not officially confirmed a US release for the series. When contacted for comment on the subject, a Capcom representative told GameSpot that "there is no announcement to be made on a US release of El Dorado Gate at this time."
